Mama Elephant Graduation Card with Gift Card Holder Inside
Hello Everyone
Happy Sunday!!! :) Today I'm sharing a card/gift card holder I created with Mama Elephant stamp sets and dies. This design started off with me wanting to use some of these amazing products from Mama Elephant that I had purchased. I love how everything came together and effortlessly by using a few basic die sets and one stamp set (Three Amigos). These critters are so cute!!! I coloured them with my Copic markers. I love all the sentiments you can put together to create a unique sentiment for that special person! :)
I encourage you to use your dies and stamp sets to create projects!
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'! :)

Mama Elephant Card With Mixed Media Background
Hello Everyone
Today I'm sharing a card I created that started off with my wanting to use some of my mixed media stuff that I have. I started off with a plain piece of white card stock. I laid down a thin coat of gesso. Once that was completely dried I put my stencil down and used some modeling paste with it. Then when that was completely dried I took my watercolours and did a wash over the card stock.
I used my Mama Elephant tag die and die cut a section of my mixed media paper. The layers of the card are also die cut using Mama Elephant dies. I also used the cloud border die from Mama Elephant. My cute critter is stamped and die cut using the Up and Away sets. I used a heart balloon die to die cut my three balloons and attached them with twine.
Hope I have inspired you to use more mixed media on your cards! It give them a lot of texture without a lot of bulk which makes it easy to mail. :)
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'! :)

Lawn Fawn Cupcake Birthday Shaker Card
Hello Everyone
Today I created a sweet birthday shaker card using Lawn Fawn products! It was inspired by a card that Nicole made on Lawn Fawn's Blog. I used the Large and Small Stitched Circle Stackables Dies for my shaker window. The three cupcakes and the cake stand as well as the sentiment are from the Baked With Love stamp and die sets. I coloured them with my Copic markers as well as the circle background of my shaker part. My sentiment was stamped using their Walnut Ink Pad. I love the fact that Lawn Fawn has coordinating die sets for their stamp sets! It makes creating cards like this sooooo easy!!! :)
Hope I have inspired you to create cards with the amazing products from Lawn Fawn!

NYC - Sketch N Scrap Twistback Thursday June 2015
Hello EveryoneI created this layout for the Sketch N Scrap Twistback Thursday! The layout sketch was created by one of the very talented sketch artists at Sketch N Scrap. This month's Twistback Thursday is "to use washi tape"!
This was a bit difficult for me as I have accumulated a lot of washi tape (as I'm sure a few of you can relate - lol)! I knew that I wanted to use this photo collage of our recent trip to NYC event though the sketch only shows 1 photo. I decided to keep my layout soft and neutral to have my photo collage be the focal point. This is what I came up with!
Remember to play along with us over at Sketch N Scrap.
We would love to see your cards and layouts based on the amazing sketches Lisa and Kelly create!
Thank you for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'!

Hello Everyone
Happy Saturday!!! It's day 2 of the Pretty Pink Posh Watercolor Blog Hop and I have created another card for this blog hop as well as the Lawnscaping Challenges Calling All Critters Challenge! :) I used my Simply Art watercolour palette for the background again as well as the kite. The cute critter from Mama Elephant's Up and Away was coloured using Copic markers. The scalloped frame is from Mama Elephant as well. The stitched watercolour frame is die cut using Pretty Pink Posh's Stitched Duo 2 and the sequin stars are also from Pretty Pink Posh. The Kite is from Lawn Fawn's Sunny Skies stamp and die sets. The sentiment is from the Admit One stamp set. I finished the card off with clear Wink of Stella on the kite.
