March 2017 Stampin' Friends Hop - Easter

Hello Everyone!!

Today I'm excited to be a guest for the Stampin' Friends March 2017 Easter Blog Hop

This month I'm part of the guest hoppers :)
Mandy Reedyk (that's me!)

For my card I have created a watercolour background card using some distress inks and blender dusters.  I added my stamped and Copic coloured images in the windows and gold heat embossed the HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY.

I also created two Easter tags as well.  Again I created a watercolour background and then die cut the tags and added my images and sentiments.

I hope you enjoyed the projects I created for this Easter Blog Hop! :)

Please check out all the awesome cards and projects the talented crafters have created for your inspiration!!

Both Card and Tags were created using Lawn Fawn, Mama Elephant, Tim Holtz and My Favorite Things products that you can purchase from Two Scrapbook Friends my favourite Canadian Papercrafting store! :) or for my US friends you can purchase them all from Simon Says Stamp!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Scrappin'! :)

Little Red Wagon #385 MTF Mama Elephant Lawn Fawn Tags

Hello Everyone

I'm happy to be hosting this week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #385.  The challenge I picked for the girlfriends and you all is "Tag It!" I want to see all tags on your projects or creating some tags :)

I created a set of 4 tags with some ink dusting using distress inks and my blender dusters.  The images are from my Copic colouring stash (I stamp, colour and die cut a lot of images all at once so that I have them on hand for quick card and tag making! :))  I made the cards genetic so that I could use them for a number of occasions.

Little Red Wagon #384 Lawn Fawn Pop-up Box Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #384 is hosted by Donna and her challenge this week is for the girlfriends to use plaids and polka dots on our projects.

Can you guess what company my mind instantly went to???  Yes, LAWN FAWN!!!!! I made this box before the release of the new Lawn Fawn Spring line. Lawn Fawn has a die that cuts this type of box out. I used my trimmer, score board and scallop edge dies to create the box. I used an assortment of stamps set and dies for the inside of the card, all from Lawn Fawn of course.  My sentiment is made from the new Happy Happy Happy stamp set and die.  My images are all coloured with my Copic markers.

Little Red Wagon #383 Lawn Fawn Happy Birthday

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #383 is hosted by Brenda and her challenge this week is to use March's Birthstone colour which is Aquamarine as your primary colour for your project.

I had coloured all these Lawn Fawn images a while ago and when I saw this challenge I knew this is where I would use them!  March happens to be my birthday month and Pisces is my sign so underwater scene is what came to mind :)  I used Lawn Fawn ink pads for the background with my duster brushes and then added all the fishes, and other underwater images to create a scene.  My images are all coloured with my Copic markers and I used gold embossing powder for my sentiment.  I finished off the card front with a scattering of gold sequins.

Please head on over to the other LRW Girlfriends' blogs and see the wonderful projects they did for this weeks challenge.  The links for their blogs are along the sidebar of my blog.  You can also check them out on the Little Red Wagon blog and then link your projects based on the weekly challenges as well.  We love seeing your creations!!! :)

Little Red Wagon #382 MTF and Mama Elephant Dream Big Card

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #382 is hosted by Jan and her challenge for us was Down on the farm...something on a farm!

This one was so hard for me...I had to ask my hubby to look up what animals are on farms...I am a city girl and though I did know what kinds of animals are on a farm I wanted to see if there were such things as oh you know.... cute elephant farms or cute bear farms or even cute raccoon and squirrel farms or even giraffe farms...hahaha... that was because of all the cute stamps I have with those types of animals! LOL ;)  So anyways, this is what I finally came up with.... Not very farmy but I know these animals belong on a farm.  So I thank you Jan for challenging me this time around again! :)...I made this card using Mama Elephant and My Favorite Things products and coloured my cute farm animals with my Copic markers.  I used distress inks to sweep across the paper with a duster brush and my sentiment is white heat embossed on black cardstock.  I finished the card off with a few sprinklings of clear and white sequins!

Little Red Wagon #381 Lawn Fawn You're Sweet

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #381 is "Season of Love" - hosted by Heather and she wanted to see us use products from a company that we love.....

I'm sure it's a big surprise that I used LAWN FAWN!!! hahaha ;).  I LOVE LAWN FAWN.  I have been a big fan of their products since they started and I saw Nichol (Magouirk) Spohr using their Polaroid frame ( which I happen to use recently here) on a scrapbook layout she had done as a Garden Girl for Two Peas In A Bucket!
I made this card with some older and newer Lawn Fawn products

Little Red Wagon #376 Simon Says Stamp Hello

Hello Everyone

This week's Little Red Wagon Challenge #376 is "Resolutions" - using your goals/resolutions on your card is hosted by Brenda.

I used an older Simon Says Stamp stamp set I have as a generic card but used shelves with books on them for what one of my goals/resolutions is this year and that is to read for pleasure more than I did last year.  I added the cute bird with glasses from Lawn Fawn to add a bit more interest to the card.  I also popped the scalloped stitched frame with some foam tape.  I used Lawn Fawn ink pads and coloured my bird with my Copics.  You can't see it in the photo but I added glossy accents to the insides of the picture frames, the glasses on the bird and to the face of the clock to give them the look of glass.
